First debate between Claire McCaskill and Matt Blunt is tonight at 7:00 pm at the Liberty Memorial museum. It will be aired on Channels 9 and 19, and 89.3 FM.

What did you think of the debate?
Unfortunately, I did not get a chance to watch the debate. Did you?
I did not get a chance to see either of their debates. I heard that Blunt got ripped to shreds.
I found a transcript for the debate last Friday night. It doesn't read bad for either candidate. Probably neither one changed anyone's mind. I heard, however, that live, Blunt has a high nasel voice and he sounds like a whiny school-kid. The guy that told me this is decidedly right-leaning...has Bush/Cheney, Roy Blunt, and Kit Bond signs in his yard. In a video transcript that shows part of the run-up to the first debate, he didn't sound that way to me at all
