an example of...

...how writers for blogs comment on writers for more traditional media.

First read "Bush's Tax Cuts Are Unfair ...To the rich.," by Steven E. Landsburg at Slate. Then have a look at "Unfair to the readers," by blogger John Quiggin at Crooked Timber.

Fair...unfair...

Pretty easy words to throw around in election campaigns.

Fair or unfair it is and has always been the burden of the efficient in society to take care of those who are less effecient...regardless of the reason.

Fair or unfair it is always a political game to cast dispersions on those who make more money than the masses. They are portrayed as wealthy arrogants who do not deserve their wealth any more than 'you' do... nevermind the hours studying to get the degree...nevermind the years spent starving on Mac n Cheese and Ramen Noodles while trying to get through college...nevermind the countless hours trying to get a business started...nevermind the repeated failures you endure before you finally succeed...

Listening to the powerful attorney-cum-politicians pontificate about the unfairness of our tax system irks me. I wish they would pay half as much attention to the unfairness of the additional cost burdened by EVERY OTHER profession due to the bottom feeders in their own.
