I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Computer and Electrical Engineering department at University of Missouri - Kansas City. I am currently working with Dr. Zhu Li in the Multimedia Computing & Communication Lab.

I did my M.S. in Communication And Information System from Laboratory of Pattern Recognition which belonged to Information and Communication Engineering College of Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications(BUPT), Beijing, China.

I did my B.Sc in Information automation at Information and Communication Engineering College of Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications(BUPT), Beijing, China as well.

Research Interests

  • Future Video Coding.

  • Point Cloud Capture and Compression (PCC).

  • Deep learning.
